1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how Husch AI LLC ("Husch", "we", "us", or "our"), operating the website husch.ai, collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our website, apps, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Waitlist email address: when you join the waitlist on husch.ai, the email address you enter is submitted to our form-processing provider, Formspree, which stores it on our behalf and forwards it to us. We use it to contact you about Husch's launch and early access.
• Account information: email address and password (stored as a salted hash) when you register for an account.
• Price alert preferences: deals you track and the target prices you set, plus the email address used to notify you.
• Communications: anything you send us via support or contact channels.

Information collected automatically

• Authentication cookies: a first-party, httpOnly session cookie (husch_token) used to keep you signed in. This cookie is required for the Service to function and is not used for advertising.
• Affiliate tracking cookies/parameters: when you click a "Get Deal" link, we redirect you through an intermediate page (/go/[id]) that attaches affiliate tracking identifiers (affiliate tags) to the outbound retailer URL, and may set or read cookies used by those affiliate networks to attribute the resulting purchase to us. • Usage and analytics data: pages visited, device/browser type, approximate location, and interactions with the Service, collected via our analytics provider(s) (e.g. product analytics tooling such as PostHog, if enabled) to help us understand usage and improve the product.
• Log data: standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps, user agent) retained for security and debugging purposes.

3. How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service (accounts, alerts, deal pages).
• To contact waitlist members about launch and early access.
• To generate AI-assisted deal scores: product and pricing data may be sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to compute a relevance/quality score for a deal. We do not send your personal account information (email, password) to the AI provider as part of this process.
• To send transactional and price-alert emails via our email provider (e.g. SendGrid/SMTP).
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
• To measure and improve the Service through aggregated analytics.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly (for example, to include advertising or affiliate cookies); where required, we will provide the choices those laws require. We share information with:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf, including hosting/infrastructure providers (e.g. Vercel), our form-processing provider (Formspree), our email delivery provider (SendGrid/SMTP), our AI provider (OpenAI), and analytics providers.
• Affiliate programs and networks (such as retailer affiliate programs and affiliate link networks) — when you click through to a retailer, standard affiliate tracking parameters and/or cookies are shared with that network and the retailer to attribute the sale. Retailers receive whatever information is normally exchanged when you shop with them directly; we do not share your Husch account credentials with retailers.
• Legal and safety — if required to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Husch, our users, or others.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use strictly-necessary cookies (authentication), functional cookies (preferences), affiliate-attribution cookies/parameters, and analytics cookies. Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent before setting non-essential cookies and provide a mechanism to withdraw consent.

6. Data retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active, and deal/ price-history data as needed to operate price tracking. Waitlist email addresses are retained until you ask us to remove them or until the waitlist is no longer needed. You may request deletion of your account or waitlist entry and associated personal data at any time (see Section 8).

7. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (e.g. encrypted password storage, httpOnly session cookies, HTTPS in transit) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on your jurisdiction (Florida), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@husch.ai. You can unsubscribe from price-alert, launch, and marketing emails at any time using the link in those emails or by emailing us.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International data transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above, and, where appropriate, via additional notice (e.g. email or an in-app notice).
